To ensure your project turns out just how you expect, we follow a specific process for every project, with your feedback frequently solicited throughout.

DESIGN PROCESS:

The design process begins with determining your dreams and visions and assessing your property’s considerations. A conceptual drawing is created and presented to you as a communication tool of my ideas. The drawing is hand drawn to scale and identifies major elements and key plants of the new garden for your review. Ideas are discussed and finalized. Our ideas are fine-tuned into a master plan that identifies all elements along with specifics on plantings; botanical and common plant names, size, quantities and location within the garden. The result is a working document for building the garden.

CONCEPTUAL:

A conceptual drawing is a document that conveys my ideas without going into a lot of detail. The drawing is hand drawn to scale and identifies major elements of the garden such as patios, walkways, planting beds and key plants. The completion of the conceptual design is a good time to meet with you to discuss my ideas along with any changes or alterations to the design.

PROBLEM SOLVING

Problem solving is a large component of my work and it is also one my favorite aspects of the process. I love the challenge and find it very rewarding. I propose beautiful, sustainable and practical solutions that promote harmony between you and your surroundings. Here are a few examples:
