Example A:
This property doesn’t have a backyard so the goal was to create a place in the front yard where the family could spend time outdoors and the children could play safely. By terracing the slope we were able to enlarge the space while at the same time providing easier maintenance for the homeowners. We reclaimed an area of their yard that had been lost to overgrown plantings and built a fence to provide a sense of privacy and enclosure with a gate to the neighbor’s patio for community activities.The enlarged and enclosed front yard now creates a place for the children to play safely, the family to grow their own vegetables and flowers, and for picnics with friends and neighbors while being beautiful, easy to maintain and providing year-round interest.
